Last night...
…was a good time. I have been like, NASTY sick for the last three days, throat that feels like it has sandpaper in it, congestion, troubled sleep, the whole nine yards, but yesterday afternoon I started to feel a smidge better so that was awesome!
The boys needed to go to gymnastics from 4 – 9 (Crazy!) so the the girls and I said we’d take them down and go shopping and goof and…. what not.
Well, we did, and guess what we went shopping for? I got a tennis racquet! A nice tennis racquet! I had been playing with this PIECE OF CRAP one, seriously, it was an old ‘head’ racquet and it was sooooo beat up because we don’t respect it but now I have one that will actually make my quasi straight swing worth something!
Here is my baby, I’ve named him ‘Doctor Olive’.
It's a Prince racquet, and the kid selling it made this totally lame joke...
Camille: "I don't know if I want the Prince or the Wilson one..."
Tennis dude: "Well, the Prince will have better control I think."
Camille: "Yeah, and to be honest I like the feel better, and it is a 'Prince'."
Tennis Dude: "And maybe you'll find your prince charming on the court if you get it!"
What the hell??? That kid was like, 20 years old, isn't that a lame old person joke? Waaaaeird...
Oh, and the minute we got home which was at like 10:00 pm we changed clothes, and went and played tennis until 11! And Doctor Olive works like a dream!!! It was so great, I love playing tennis at night in the summer.
Oh, and at dinner there was total Panera drama. So we’re at the Panera Seth works at (At the mall) right? Well, I order our food and I give my name and the chick is like…
Sarah: “You wouldn’t happen to be Camille Studer would you?”
Camille: “Yeah, I am, do you know Seth?”
Sarah: “Oh cool! Yeah, I’m Sarah!”
Camille “Oh! Hi it’s so good to meet you!”
Blah blah blah, blah blah. Talk talk talk, yadda yadda yadda. She is ‘the’ Sarah. The Sarah whos house Seth crashes at sometimes. It’s like a bunch of girls who live there, and they’ve made Seth their new pet or something, ha! But she was totally cool! Seth actually came to pick her up and we all sat and talked for a while and we were almost completely comfortable with her, she’s been Studer approved. It's just the whole 'Not being able to o anywhere without running into sombody I know!' thing again.
Oh, and more Panera drama. So we’re sitting there, and Laura says “Oh my gosh is that Joel?” and I turn and quickly look behind me and there is Joel, Brooke, Andrea, and Eric Palmer! ‘CRAP!’ I’m thinking ‘I don’t want to be social!’. They disappeared, so I thought I might escape, but then I see they’re in Panera waving at me….uggggggg. So they came over and I had to be social for a while….ugggg. I don’t mind when the people are like, Studer approved, but those are so rare. Ah well.
Then of course we went to Target for a while… yeah.
Oh, and after tennis we watched Gilmore Girls until 2am. And now I’m up and totally wiped, but it was a fun evening.
